SVEDKA Vodka’s meteoric rise in popularity was due in no small part to it’s breakthrough “Best Vodka of 2033” positioning. However, as a future positioned brand, SVEDKA needed to modernize their marketing efforts to match the consumption patterns of a more youthful audience – and to get their target to engage and share the brand via social channels online.
What We Did
To maximize presence and social growth within Facebook, Grain helped SVEDKA create three different Facebook promotions over six months, starting with the “BotorNot” Facebook Application- an instant-win social giveaway where fans tested their luck for a chance to win some of the BOTTEST prizes (physical SWAG) of the summer… However, not all prizes were BOT… in fact… many were NOT.

Grain’s efforts increased Svedka’s social followers by 448% – making it the 2nd most popular Vodka brand on Facebook at the time – and driving 340MM media impressions, and 64,000 game plays.
