The Challenge

The first five years of life are to critical to future learning and success. Children’s brains are built by experience, from the bottom up, through dynamic relationships with caring adults. Inspired by these findings, the Bezos Family Foundation developed Vroom to empower parents and caregivers with the tools to turn everyday moments, like mealtime and bathtime, into brain building moments.

What We Did

From day one of beta-testing, Grain was Bezos Family Foundations analytics partner – helping them understand how parents interacted with the Daily Vroom IOS & Android apps.

As the app experience evolved, so did Grain’s engagement, as we helped the Daily Vroom team acquire a Google Grant (up to $120,000 in free annual media from Google) and launching their first ever mobile acquisition efforts with Facebook and TapJoy.

The Result!

Grain’s long-view at analytics and app engagement has helped the BFF team push more than x app updates over the course of two years to improve engagement and retention.

Google Grant traffic has driven over 50,000 visitors to the JoinVroom.org site in the first 12 months and driven over 1,000 downloads.

The first phase of the mobile acquisition efforts increased total app userbase by more than 25%.
